Information

Flue gas desulfurization (FGD) is an effective means to control SO2 emissions. According to the characteristics of the process, flue gas desulfurization can be divided into three types: wet method, semi-dry method and dry method.

(1) Wet desulfurization technology is mainly limestone-gypsum method, magnesium oxide method, ammonia method, sodium-alkali method, double-alkali method, etc.

Technical characteristics of wet desulfurization: high desulfurization efficiency, which can be stabilized at 95%, SO2 emission concentration can be controlled below 200mg/m (standard); technology is mature and reliable; desulfurization by-products are easy to process and utilize, The desulfurizer is cheap and easy to obtain, and the quality requirements are not high.

Disadvantages: large one-time investment in the process and high operating cost; large area; wastewater is generated and must be treated; it is not easy to completely solve the problems of wear, blockage, corrosion, leakage, especially corrosion and scale blocking. The low flue gas temperature of the wet desulfurization process affects the uplift and diffusion of flue gas, and white smoke and stack rain will appear. The use of wet methods needs to consider the anti-corrosion problem of the chimney.

Applicability: Suitable for large sintering machines of 450 square meters and above, or conditions where the processing gas volume is above the 6th power of 2.0×10 m/h; the original flue gas SO2 concentration is greater than 2500mg/m, and the desulfurization efficiency is required Above 95%; there are enterprises that have reserved space or layout without difficulty.

(2) The semi-dry flue gas desulfurization technology mainly uses calcium-based absorbents, which are developed on the basis of the limestone-gypsum method. The main difference between the various semi-dry technologies lies in the different working methods in the absorption tower . Commonly used desulfurization technologies include dense coherent tower method, circulating fluidized bed method, rotary spray drying method (SDA), ENS method, LEC method, NID method and MEROS method.

(3) Dry flue gas desulfurization technology includes activated carbon (coke) adsorption method and electron beam irradiation (EBA). Among them, the activated carbon (coke) adsorption method has the functions of out-of-stock, deodorization, heavy metals and dust. This technology has been widely used in Japan and South Korea, and is the development direction of sintering flue gas desulfurization technology in the future. The desulfurization efficiency of activated carbon method is 90%~99%.
