Benzene Washing Tower

Benzene Washing Tower

The benzene scrubber is the primary equipment in the benzene recovery section, and its function is to use atmospheric-pressure absorption to remove benzene and naphthalene from coke oven gas by means of tar wash oil.
Crude Benzene Tubular Heater

Crude Benzene Tubular Heater

The tubular furnace is the primary equipment in the benzene stripping unit, tasked with heating the benzene-rich oil to 180°C–190°C while simultaneously superheating the direct steam used for benzene removal to 400°C–450°C.

The primary cooler is the main equipment in the cold-blast electrostatic precipitator section. Its function is to use cooling water to indirectly cool raw coke oven gas from 82°C to 83°C down to approximately 22°C, while removing most of the tar and naphthalene from the gas. It is of a horizontal-tube design, typically divided into two or three stages, and is cooled using 32°C recirculating water and 16°C chilled water.

Pollutants such as sulfur dioxide, nitrogen oxides, and fine particulate matter (PM2.5) have become prominent environmental pollution problems in China. Since 2013, the state and government agencies at all levels have successively introduced stringent laws and regulations for the prevention and control of air pollution. In response, our company has promptly developed the wet electrostatic mist (dust) precipitator (WESP), which is widely applicable to the treatment of flue gases generated in coal-fired power plants, chemical and petrochemical industries, nonferrous metal smelting, iron and steel production, coking, biotechnology, pharmaceuticals, and other sectors. The WESP can effectively remove harmful impurities from flue gases, including acid mists, aerosol particles, and dust, with particularly high efficiency in capturing fine particulate matter such as PM2.5.
